A task force of experts from several of the world’s leading child trauma organizations enlisted my producing and strategic support to create a limited-run podcast. In six months, we created a powerful and accessible audio series with 50+ additional video and print resources to help professionals and parents implement and advocate for trauma-informed practices.

Pandemic Parenting’s co-founder called me up with a great idea — and a tight deadline. In a matter of weeks I designed and wrote copy for a website, established a social media presence, and crafted an email campaign inviting caregivers to attend our first live virtual event. Since launching, I’ve produced 15 live webinars and a growing number of podcast episodes, expanded our email subscribers into the thousands, and rolled out a project management tool to coordinate tasks.

A lack of visa information on IES Abroad’s public website led to stressed students calling with a lot of the same questions. I led a cross-departmental team outlining and drafting content to concisely describe the complex student visa processes for 17 countries. I built webforms with conditional logic so that students could answer a few questions and determine their individual visa process. Not only did this new web content meet business needs, it launched IES Abroad’s site into an SEO space they hadn’t previously competed in to achieve long-term ranking success in a target keyword category.

Ingenuity’s Data & Research team brought me on to write their State of the Arts in Chicago Public Schools 2016-17 Progress Report. I assisted with collection, cleaning, and analysis of data from approximately 600 CPS schools and 500 community-based arts partners. The final 100+ page analysis and synthesis of data informed stakeholders (including Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Immanuel) that principals and educators throughout the city were increasingly meeting goals to prioritize arts education.

The National Youth Screening and Assessment Partners were looking for an updated website with easier functionality for their team to update. I migrated their website to Squarespace and provided SEO-focused copyediting support to engage and inform potential clients about training and consultation services.

Along the way, I rebuilt their website’s resource functionality to aid users in accessing relevant publications and resources throughout the site.
