Book Club with Julia & Victoria
I am co-host and producer of Book Club with Julia & Victoria. Join the Book Club each episode as we choose a text off our shelves to discuss, dissect, and maybe - after another glass of wine - dissolve into a TED talk on the history of the English language.
Roadmap for Change: Trauma Recovery & Juvenile Justice
Produced by the Center for Trauma Recovery and Juvenile Justice at the University of Connecticut, Roadmap for Change dives into the pressing need for transformation of the juvenile justice system. Dr. Amanda Zelechoski hosts the show, which features the voices of 20+ youth, families, and experts in the fields of juvenile justice and trauma-informed care.
My role as a producer involved close collaboration with the host on the show’s concept, leading the team in pre-production planning, prepping the host for interviews, scripting the trailer and episodes, designing and copywriting for the website, and providing strategic marketing support.
The Pandemic Parenting Podcast
Hosted by Dr. Amanda Zelechoski and Dr. Lindsay Malloy, The Pandemic Parenting Podcast brings together experts in fields such as psychology, mental health, child development, and trauma to provide in-depth discussion and actionable advice to parents.
As the show’s producer, I outlined episodes, assisted in recording sessions, drafted copy (ads, promos, trailers, show notes etc.), highlighted quotes and excerpts for social media promotion, and collaborated on overall content and promotion of the podcast.
Roadmap to Resilience: Supporting Children Experiencing Stress and Trauma
Roadmap to Resilience is a limited-run audio series for professionals, parents, and caregivers who are supporting children through stress and trauma. Hosts Dr. Amanda Zelechoski and Dr. Julian Ford sat down with 16 guest experts to help provide listeners with the tools they need to help children and families overcome adversity and move forward into resilience.
My role as a producer included producing Zoom-recorded interviews, scripting the trailer and episodes, coaching the hosts, designing and copywriting for the website, and providing strategic marketing support.
On The Program
As host and producer of the short-run podcast On the Program, I sat down with musicians who were performing in Northwest Indiana. We discussed the music on their most recent concert or recital program — pulling out the themes, stories, and histories that inevitably influenced and shaped their performances. On The Program was the product of my senior music capstone to fulfill my B.A. in Music at Valparaiso University.
